eBOY are  three guys, based in Berlin and Vancouver, that have been working with pixels, code, 3D and toys for a long time.

As they say “Inspiration comes through everyday things, a leaf, a small rock, a smell, or a song. Maybe a supermarket in a new city we visit, or an accident, a small misunderstanding. Our favorite tools for looking for inspiration on the web are Google Image Search, Flickr, Tumblr and Ffffound!”

*Pixel art is a type of digital art where artists specify the location of individual pixels, which are built up to create intricate scenes, game backgrounds, characters, and 3D effects – all with a limited colour pallet. Think about those 8-bit graphics first seen with the release of gaming consoles in the early ’80s and you’ll know what we mean.

Developing this artwork doesn’t require expensive equipment, just a lot of time.
